Dreamer trying to catch hat dream

Hello everyone, this is probably my first ever post on any forum. I am a 27 yr old guy working at a little convenience store in a little beach town in Canada, with maybe about 80-100 people after summer is over. One day a delivery guy comes to my store, tells me that this is the first time he has ever been here and tells me that this place seems pretty dead. He says “you seem to have so much time to yourself, you should try Forex trading”. Now I have always wanted to invest my money to see it grow. So I started with a quick youtube search “Forex trading for beginners” saw a few videos where people my age are making so much money and I got drawn towards it. I have been going through the “School of Pipsology” hoping to graduate one day. Started a demo account and had pretty significant losses so far, recovered some; still don’t have much idea as to what to do and when to do it. Hoping that in time I will be able to get better. Hoping to be able to support my mom and dad from this minimum wage nightmare. I look forward to being part of this community. Look forward to making my dreams come true.

welcome and after practicing on demo account
try a micro account

Hey, thanks. BTW what is considered a micro account?

a trading account for beginners
just read the babypips lessons and you will get to it

Hi there fellow dreamer

Nothing wrong in your plans and goals. I would say go real slow when starting to trade. Far too many are in a rush to make money, and it actually hinders there progress.

Its like the hare and the tortoise story, and we all know who won that.

Welcome to the community, dreamer2! I’ve always wanted to live by the beach! Good luck with the School of Pipsology and I hope someday, you’ll fulfill your dreams! Keep us updated!

Hey thanks for the advice, will try to go slow. There are some days where i have to urge to go hard into it, but I realize I have to be consistent.

Hey thanks for welcoming me to this community. I look forward to being an active member.
