I’m ready to learn and invest towards a brighter and possibly even better tomorrow for myself & my family.
Hello and welcome to the community. Don’t invest too much money at first.
If you want to invest, buy US index linked funds, instead of losing money trading FX, as is the norm for 80% of newbies. Take a reality check, stop dreaming, and ask yourself why so many fail?
Answer, because they overtrade, revenge trade, gamble, and do not protect their capital at all costs. Plus not being able to control their emotions of fear and pain suffered by trading FX live.
best of luck.
Do not invest initially, first learn and practice and then invest.
I know you wish the best and you’re totally right, but your words sounded a little discouraging here. No offence
Welcome to the forum
Thanks for the advice!
Oh no! Wasn’t trying to sound discouraging; but I am anxious and excited to begin this new journey.
But if someone comes with a lot of practice and has a good strategy they can obviously start real trading with forex too.
Of course they can. But FX is not a typical long-term stocks investment, it’s a speculative system where people win and lose money on a daily basis. A completely different scenario which requires specialist skills and the right mindset to become successful.
If I was investing right now, I’d buy gold and silver long term. In Thailand, they buy and sell silver balls, which are used by retail business owners to melt down to make jewellery. FX trading would be on a different planet to them.
Yes I do agree forex is a completely different market, it is a very volatile market even sometimes your full proof strategy does not work and you end up with losses. However anyone can give it a try on demo and start liking forex more than stocks. Actually it is about taking risks. Not everyone wants to take risks so they do not prefer forex over stocks.
