Do I have to do anything special for Metatrader to save my S&R lines? Every time I close the program they’re all lost.
What’s annoying is that some charts seem to keep the lines I put on them.
SAVE your template with the lines on them and they should re-appear the next time you open them

What do you mean saving the template? I�m curious because I have had the same situation and I�d like to keep those reference points on my chart sometimes.
Hello, I’m also curious about saving this type of information into my pc, however when I go to the option Save as, I don’t see anything that says, save as template or save into template file extension. Could you please tell me what the exact steps are in order to save the template?
There is a tool bar at the top of the page with, zoom in,
zoom out, auto scroll, chart shift etc, in it, also there is
"templates".
If you click on this a drop down menu appears with, load template,
save template in it.
Click on save, a folder opens up to save into with the file type .tpl,
you can name it & load it whenever you like.
in addition to that method, you can also right click on your chart, which opens a dialogue box and then go to “template”, which will then open a list of your available templates and you simply save the one you have open !

Thanks. I’m away from home and my PC now, so can’t check it out – if I save the template, does it save the lines for all open charts or just the top one?
saves the top chart, but not understanding well !
are the other charts differing timeframes or different currency pairs ?

Wow thanks a lot! Now I’ll be able to make a complete backup of the information about my trades and make myself a complete feedback when I make mistakes. Once again I appreciate your help a lot, now it seems so simple jajajaja
