Okay I’ve got a small question, or a big one.
I came across a thread here where someone asked about the possibility of earning $15 daily on a $500 account. So many, if not all the comments suggested that it wasn’t possible.
Mind you, $15 is 3% of $500.
On this same forum I’ve seen people talk about Risk and reward ratio of 1:2 and 1:3
Also, the general consensus is to trade with 1-2% of your account balance.
Assuming this person now trades with 1% ($5) and with RR of 1:2, $10 daily looks possible, no? I’m just stating from figures I’ve seen here.
I’ve been trying to make sense of all this. Am I even making sense?
It’s very possible, I have done it…
1 mini lot - 20 pips for the day
This may be a bad advice but I’m saying what I do. Whether you loss instead depends on you.
I have $1000 account though.
Thanks for your input. More success to you
It’s the consistency that matters, even a daily average of 1/2% per day is over 100% annually…
Exactly. 1% daily is a sweet one. That’s 20% monthly. It’s not a bad deal if you ask me.
“Exactly. 1% daily is a sweet one. That’s 20% monthly. It’s not a bad deal if you ask me.”
So tell me why is it that our best hedge funds do not come close to that figure?
lets get relastic.
Actually, here consistency is the key! When you are trading with a consistency, then anything is possible! Besides, for being a consistent player, you need a pro trading skill.
I think that there is a possibility for experienced trader to make 3% daily. But for those with less experience, I would not recommend so easily to jump into conclusion about secure profitability. You just need to spend time on a market and realise which strategy fits the best your trading style
