Easier backtesting methods?

HI
I was wondering if anyone knows of an easy way to back test different strategies? It is just so deflating when you do days and days of backtesting and get completly excited that a great system has been found and then to find out after all these days and weeks spent in front of the computer turn out to be for nothing.
There must be an easy way to backtest without having to know about programming, l am no computer wizard thats for sure.

I have so many differnt ideas, but backtesting them all will take me a life time.

Try ForexTester, they have a demo available. Not sure if the demo is for a specific period of time for trying or for just a pair to test. It forward tests in that you load historical data, specify your parameters, and then it goes from the last historical data to the present. I chatted with 2 people at a forex meeting and they said they wouldn’t even demo a strategy until they ran it on ForexTester. Google it. d.
