Has it ever happened to you when you mistakenly place SELL instead of Buy?

Yeah. I cant believe it.I have been trading for the past 2 yrs.I made that silly mistake today.After careful analysis and other stufss,i wanted to go long and klicked short.I just realised the mistake immediately.Anyway, close it but you all know that i will suffer the SPREAD.
I guess it is carelessness or emotion because it never happened to me except today.Too silly i tell you.
So what happened? Did you close it right away or not discover the mistake until it was too late?
One thing I have done though is place an order 10x bigger than I intended. Using Oanda I put an extra 0 on the unit amount. That swing trade suddenly turned into a superfast (and super profitable:D) scalp trade.

You can avoid this by allways entering your stop loss simoultaneously (spl?) with your trade entry. The trading station shouldnt accept a long order if your SL price is above the entry.
I use Oanda and I have had it set up for one click trading I have entered the wrong pair. The way I trade it doesn’t really matter what I click on:p.
I have done that long instead of short thing to unless the trend is strong you can wait it out to break even or a pip or 2 profit. If you cant it means your original plan was perfect how often does that happen.
