Hi folks.
I couldn’t find an Expert/Indicator that would display News /Events on an MT4 chart so I decided to make one. Just in case it would be useful for anybody else I have attached the open file for it here

To use it

Copy and past the file to the expert folders of your mt4

Go to Tools --> Options --> Experts and check the box at the bottom: “Allow WebRequest…”

Copy and paste this link there: https://cdn-nfs.faireconomy.media/ff_calendar_thisweek.csv
You should be good to go with that. The news data is from forexfactory and will be for the current week. The expert is simple i.e. without a GUI and will present the news items relevant to the currencies on your chart as arrows at the time of release. Hover over an arrow to get details of the news item
