buying fapturbo on ebay for 13$ ???
how do we know whether its genuine robot. no money back guarantee. there is fapturbo for 129$ original is 149$ i think i will go for a second one @ 129$ but i will wait until the 30days is over.
fap belongs to looser eaās long time ago just name any commercial ea they all looser.
my gomarkets live account 194$ up to 225$ in one week:D my demo account with TDFX is 560$ from 500$ in one 3 days:D and liteforex demo account up from 200$ 230$ in one week:D.
I adjusted my SL in FapTurbo but it seemed to ignore these and have a mind of its own. One thing Iāll say is it makes 3 to 6 trades per day in single or double figures for a $1000 to $2000 live account. IvyBot produced 3 figure profits but produced just as many 3 figure losses. So I ditched IvyBot. I also ditched Forex Maximiser and Forex Maximiser Pro for the same reasonsā¦more losers than winners. I now run Fap Turbo and Megadroid and the Free EA V9 from BabyPips. Megadroid trades maybe once a week but is a consistent winner.

Default settings very well with Fapturbo54. The only thing is lot size needs to be increased otherwise it will make only 3-5$ per trade. No need to change settings.
I stopped using Fapturbo since Fapturbo 49 as I met with a lot of loss. Fapturbo is fine with me on demo.

Try some more aggressive settings on EURUSD. These seem to have nice results - currently we have a forward test running. Try the following back test on FapTurbo54:-

How did your fapturbo go this year? Backtests suggest August-September would have sucked on the standard settings.
My view - one needs to watch market volatility as in high volatility market itās great with wide SL but in trending market you have to be careful. I would turn FT off on a strongly trending pair.
FYI - fapturbo scalper is really not good with a trending pair. Why? The strategy seeks to identify volatile periods in a boxed range. For example, itās the Asian session, markets are calm, no obvious trend but the average range for the 15 min chart is decent. So Scalper looks for an entry that has room to pick a handful of pips in the identified range.
q: Where does this fall down?
a: When the range is a period of calm in a strong trend. Here even the high SL:TP wonāt save you (eg 45:4 for the standard settings on EURUSD). The institutional money āfakes outā the expected scalp, the trend resumes, and your trade is toast.
What really sucks about this is serial correlation. Trending markets continue. So when you get one scalper loss, more will follow. Try backtesting with the ārelaxhoursā set to 120 (yep, give the thing a week off after a bath!). You will see results improve. Then try hiking up the SL. With relax hours and higher SL your win rate climbs and you are awayā¦
Alternatively donāt run the thing on the euro pairs while the current madness continues - or have some other way to measure volatility and switch the robot off when it was never meant to work.
Moral of the story: one needs to understand EAs. Deep Blue kicked Kasparov but IBM made sure that Deep Blue stuck to chess. Iām sure he sucked at baseballā¦
