Heyoo, level 0 forex noob here. I’m feenyx4m from Nigeria, a finalist in college and getting ready to enter the world of taxes, bills, poor paying jobs, and Twitter (this time as people). Suffice to say, I need some form of compass, and everybody knows money can buy a guiding star.
Everyone has come across forex trading at least once, if not from movies, then from that guy next door that’s sporting a high end apartment with S class Mercedes benz. In my case, I’ve come across it a lot, but for some odd reason, probably laziness, I’ve shrugged it off. However its everywhere these days, all around me, down to friends and family. And while not everyone is making it, some are and it’s really interesting. It’s one reason I’ve decided to look at it.
Another is a source of income. Getting a job isn’t always easy, and keeping it can be just as difficult, so I’ve decided to have a variety of income sources no matter how little. I’ve tried freelancing, manual labor, blogging, affiliate marketing, usually with little to no gain (I’m that bad). Unlike these other sources of income which depend on consumers or traffic, forex has no such barrier. It does require a great deal of knowledge, constant studying and I think some form of gambling, but you don’t need to depend on traffic to make it (I think). Going foward, I’ll like it to be a substantial source of income.
Final reason and not a major one for me, is to live the dream. Not necessarily movie star kind of dream, but at least some form of luxury, one that can keep you going comfortably enough to retire very very early.
A friend introduced me to this site, and I hope to learn and be good at this.
