Forex Price Action

Yes, but has already broken and hit FTA ==> train left the station long ago, wait for the next one

Cheers

Hi hanz!

Tell me what you think about them, and Iā€™ll tell you what I think about them

Mmmm I might know who that wasā€¦

Be careful about trading GBP or EUR pairs today. Few big announcements involving interest rates etc.

Iā€™ve seen a few, what I think are, good setups involving both currencies but Iā€™m staying out for now.

Today is just not a good day to trade

Well I really donĀ“t know for sure. They are in in high peak of trend but what is 2 bars like that saying?

hanz0

If you see anything trade-able as per what price is saying, trade it. Following news with this method is a stumbling block

Well, (to me), just that the level 0.8300 is still holding, and if all factors remain constant, price may find itā€™s way down again.

That said, the two pin highs are a higher high than the previous high, and the low before the pins is a higher low. So while the level 0.8300 appears to be holding, thereā€™s definitely upward pressure.

For me, that means: wait for price to show its hand more (clearer direction)

Cheers

The market is in absolute range , the reason is the big newses are coming today and specially nfp tomorrow.
Hope to see some movementsā€¦

Go long if passed the pinbar high convincingly? After finding this I noticed that at the pinbar high area has a lot of resistance, so probably not an A+ trade anyway. What do you guys think? Or is the pinbar too small?

PB too small, not swing low.

Stay away Psych0!

Small pin

Incorect swing point [ You should: Buy low, Sell high; not the other way around ]

No pullback or range low to buy from

.

Thanks, I sheepishly assumed the swing high was the big bar that pushed through resistance and the low was the pinbar/pullback after breaking the zone forming. It all makes sense now.

As for the setup. It could have been a proper setup right?

I got lucky on this one :41: it was close yoo:37:

I noticed the pinbar but I didnā€™t consider it very proper and too much traffic on the left and than the indecision on the right. Anyway I entered sell trade for 15 pips to give it a try. It triggered my TP but than suddenly in some seconds it shot up because of the news.

I have to agree with Dudest!!! You OBVIOUSLY have not read much if any of the first 20 or so pages that are essential to learning the methodology used. You are merely throwing darts. Just my personal opinion.

Sorry I just woke up when I saw that. Also, just because I havenā€™t mastered it doesnā€™t mean I havenā€™t gone through the beginning of the thread. I have and I go back to it over and over until I get the hang of it. Part of the learning process is to put up what I think is a setup and get it ripped to shreds  It helps me get a better understanding of what I donā€™t understand. In addition I have other sources that I learn from and might ā€œmess upā€ my perception of what is a correct trade. My apologies if my ignorance bothers you. Iā€™m merely a student with dumb questions so please bear with me.

Support and res are ok trend is with usā€¦ Or at least not against usā€¦ So thatā€™s good

Hi PsychOFOx.
Good on you for putting up your charts and questions. It can be hard and we all get to learn from them. I also regularly refer to the front pages as do a lot of others so donā€™t feel alone. Repetition is how we learn and retain new things.
The way I see it there are no ā€˜dumbā€™ questions either, as we are just needing clarification or confirmation from the group to uncertainties we need help with. The senior members who pass on their knowledge to us, do so freely and without any malice time and time again.

happy trading
