They provide those password to they MT4 Boston Tech. live account and it was on they site before black monday 1.3.2010. After big loss - because of one martingale EA ( Saasha) inside of Fusioin - they stop trading that account and took those password off from they site and now they are presenting two other accounts for Fusioin.

Is anyone out there testing HiRider on its own? I put it on a demo account with $100k and its floating loss dropped as far as -$35000 on 4th March. It’s since crept back up and has made a profit so far of $3600 since 2nd March when I started.

I can’t imagine what I would have done if that was real money.

Exactly, and here lies the problem.

How much money did you opened the accounts?

$1000. real money account with FXCM.

I’ve requested a refund from the vendor through plimus, but they told me to demo test it for at least 30 days as per refund policy. They guarantee they will refund if results were not convincing after 30 days… Somehow i have a feeling they wanted me to resolve this refund and close the case so i can’t re-open another refund case.

here’s an update of the results as of writing now:

Fusion trading 0.01 lots
current account : 735.85
floating loss : -131.63

HiRider trading 0.1 lots
current account : 875.12
floating loss : 0.00

LMD multi Currency trading 0.1 lots
current account : 804.55
floating profit : 70.42

Super volcano using MM trading 0.01 lots
current account : 914.61
floating loss : -32.36

has anyone tried the Forex Torpedo? or Forex Detector?

Here’s the most recent email from FRWC:

Hi, Glen

Some VERY important updates:

1). NEW Settings section in the EA Lab

2). LMD MultiCurrency Settings

3). SuperVolcano Important Update

4). HiRIDER “Advanced” – Exciting Development

5). NEW Straasha System Settings

Ok… this is a VERY important email for our clients and
we ask you to please read it very carefully.

As all our clients should know, the EA Lab is a very
important aspect of the members area.

It allows us to work very hard for you in order to:

A) Constantly develop NEW concepts/robots and,

B) Always keep track of (and REACT to, if needed) the
behavior of the official FRWC champion robots in
current market conditions.

One important trait we learned about the traders we have
been working with is that they understand the reality of
Forex trading.

That is… always keep an eye on the “pulse” of market
behavior in conjunction with a robot’s strategy. VERY
important.

Market personality changes from time to time… and so a
robot has to be adapted…

…THAT is our job: to work hard so that our clients can
always count on the latest, most updated strategy for
the CURRENT market reality.

Yes, we know that most people have been conditioned
to think “I buy a robot and that’s it… no need for
maintenance, no need for monitoring… no need for
adjustment… no need for research”.

It’s not their fault. They are used to buying a cheap,
useless FX products from vendors who only care about
the sale and have no intention of actually investing in
their clients so that they have the to ability to succeed.

That being said, we hope the small group of traders who
joined our family know better than this and approach
automated FX trading in a different and more professional
and educated manner.

NEW “Robot Settings” section in the EA Lab

After a lot of work and extensive investment in ongoing
research, we are proud to inform all our members that
we now have a new section in the EA Lab called “Robot
Settings”.

In this section, our own FRWC team members work hard
with the winning FRWC robot developers to:

  1. Study current market conditions

  2. Understand what changes in each robot’s strategy /
    market behavior adaptation are needed

  3. Produce the optimal settings that will successfully
cope with the above two issues

As of now, you can access the new and improved settings
for:

  • LMD MultiCurrency

  • SuperVolcano

  • Straasha System

All of these new settings are explained in a special PDF
report we created which you can view here:

forex-robot-world-cup.com/members/ealab/FRWC_Settings-201003.pdf

NOTE: For convenience, the report is also posted on the
new “Robot Settings” page in the EA Lab and can always
be accessed by logging in to the members area.

HiRIDER “Advanced” – Exciting Development

We are currently working on a new version of the HiRIDER
EA called “HiRIDER Advanced”.

Leslee Vernon Gouws, the developer of HiRIDER, is working
with us very closely on the development of a new, more
profitable and even more stable version of HiRIDER.

We are really excited about this small project and we are
confident that our members will soon enjoy the stability
and profitability of this “new” robot.

If you take a look here:

forex-robot-world-cup.com/members/ealab/FRWC_Settings-201003.pdf

…and scroll down to the “HiRIDER section”, you will see
exactly what we are talking about!

NOTE: We are working very hard to release this newest
HiRIDER version. You will be informed as soon as it is
available for download from within the members area.

Ok…

That’s it for today but you can expect more updates from
us very soon…

Remember: while you are reading this email, we are in
the EA Lab working on new and exciting developments.
All the best,

The Forex Robot World Cup Team

Thanks Glen for posting for us non-owners.

I have several observations to make. This latest email seems to be an about face from the previous one. Now FRWC is admitting they can’t support the robots in house like they so boldly stated several weeks ago. I bet the robot developers are saying to themselves, I told you so. I bet they are also saying that they won’t touch Fusion V with a ten foot pole. So, I am guessing that FRWC will be abandoning Fusion and scrambling to sell some of the robots as standalone. Probably too late for this too work after they damaged their credibility so badly since Feb 16.

I just wish I had access to that new PDF on recommended new robot settings. My guess is that they will be close to the ideas that have been discussed in this forum recently.

All they recommend in the new email is to change a couple settings in straasha, supervolcano, and disable some most pairs on LMD and advice only to trade USDCHF, AUDUSD, and EURGBP. They also show some backtest for the new “hirider advanced”. I’ve only been demo trading lmd for a couple weeks with bad results across a couple of brokers. What makes them think some of us had not already tried the “new” settings they recommened in that new pdf file? Seems to me they’re running out of… what to say. Anyway, if you want to see the pdf file let me know.

Just for curiousity, I would. Thanks in advance.

I think it’s on the email previously posted by zenglen as well.

They talk about changing a setting in the Straasha EA from 4 to 1(for the martigale strategy) to reduce risk. I think I had mentioned earlier in this forum I would change this setting in this EA if I were to use it live, but I wasn’t going to change from 4 to 1, but .1 instead, but still, the back test from 2009 did well, but then doing a backest for just a bit longer period of time, the straasha ends up blowing off the acc with that martigale strategy, even with the .1 setting, and there’s no way to disable that strategy in this ea, otherwise it wouldn’t be that bad. Their trying to keep us enternatined an push the release of “hiRider advanced” a month out so that by then people won’t be able to get a refund.

Anyone got their refund successfully?

It’s been a minute since I posted so I thought I would drop by and see if I could irritate someone.

Some people still seem to be questioning themselves as to whether the Fusion EA and FRWC is legit or a scam. To satisfy your own mind why not ask yourself some simple questions or create a list with “why I think Fusion - FRWC is legit” and “why I think Fusion – FRWC is a scam” (or at least “scammy”).

The headings could also be entitled INCRIMINATING EVIDENCE and SUBTANTIATING EVIDENCE.

Has the EA performed as advertised?

Why do they have an unlisted phone #?

Why is their website privately registered (through CheapNames.com)?

Apparently they are now recommending that I use only half of the product. Should I be satisfied with that?

I am confident that the EA can make at least a 200% return in one given month even though it wiped out 100% of my account in the preceding month. Even though I lost $1000 the best thing to do is to fund my account with another $1000?

I should continue testing this EA because they are going to string me along
with a new update every week or so. I know it won’t be long before any hope
of getting a refund has passed but that’s OK. I would rather find out later
that this EA will never work instead of demanding a refund now?

From a trader’s perspective, there is a new currency pair; SMT/FEA
SMT being Simple Manual Trading and FEA being Fusion Expert Advisor.
I will remain long FEA ?

I could go on but… all you can do is decide for yourself.

All comments and criticisms are welcome.

To continue from the previous post concerning scamming evidence, I will present a few of my own arguments. Not that I disagreed with anything TradeRunner said, but I am not as convinced as he is.

I am reminded of the joke from the 90s (or was it the 80s?). What is the difference between a used car salesman and a personal computer salesman? - the used car salesman knows when he is lying. To update it for this thread, I would ask what is the difference between FRWC and 99% of the other FX robot vendors? - the other vendors know when they are lying.

The evidence in favour of FRWC:

  1. They have the endorsement of FXCM and Boston Technologies. Companies like this don’t put their credibility on the line for everyone with good teeth, well tailored suit and a slick PowerPoint presentation - they saw something genuine in FRWC.
  2. They ran a fair and open robot competition for 2 months. It was run on real money accounts with live results available to everyone. The winners got paid - no strings attached other than surrendering certain marketing rights.
  3. They promise a no hassle, 60 day complete satisfaction money back guarantee for their product.

Against them - from other boards there is unsubstantiated, but believable statements that FRWC management is associated with IVYBOT, USDBOT and the new GBPBOT which are obvious scams.

I have seen some signs that FRWC has been caught in their own hype and they might actually believe what they say. If that is the case, they are not guilty of deception, but rather self delusion, just like the computer salesmen I referred to earlier.

I am like the prosecuting attorney who is waiting for that one last piece of corroborating evidence - the so called “smoking gun” and I think we will have it this week. If FRWC honours their refund policy, they are not guilty of a scam, only of wasting a lot of time and effort.

For those who asked about refunds, they have been at least 2 other buyers who already have their money back. They made such a fuss about it that FRWC gave them the money to be rid of them.

This guy posted his statement link on another forum. If you weren’t convinced before about Fusion V, this should do it. Glad to see he used demo.

Edit: This was the second account he blew up and he claims to have used the recommended settings.

Edit: He is well on his way to blowing up his 3rd account.

Lolololol!!! What did I tell you guys?

heh, no surprise here.

You post some good points. However;

=The evidence in favour of FRWC:

  1. They have the endorsement of FXCM and Boston Technologies. Companies like this don’t put their credibility on the line for everyone with good teeth, well tailored suit and a slick PowerPoint presentation - they saw something genuine in FRWC.
REPLY: Do you have proof of the endorsement of FXCM and BT? Or did FRWC simply “borrow” a logo. It isn’t difficult to place a logo on your website.

  2. They ran a fair and open robot competition for 2 months. It was run on real money accounts with live results available to everyone. The winners got paid - no strings attached other than surrendering certain marketing rights.
REPLY: Do you have proof that any prize money was actually awarded? Just because the site says it’s true, does that make it so? Do they provide any contact information for the prize winners? Do they provide concrete evidence that the “winners” received compensation?

  3. They promise a no hassle, 60 day complete satisfaction money back guarantee for their product.
REPLY: A promise is only as good as the person giving it. Throughout time there have been those who promise something only to get what they want. Consider the politician.

For those who asked about refunds, they have been at least 2 other buyers who already have their money back. They made such a fuss about it that FRWC gave them the money to be rid of them.
REPLY: I hope all who wish a refund will persevere until they receive it.

It took me several days with the help of various friends (computer experts) to actually load Fusion onto the trading platform. It took another 48 hours to start trading and showed a small profit. The following day the demo account was back to it’s starting place. Today the balance is down by 20%. I am used to over hyped AE’s that promiss fortunes and deliver nothing but FRWC products are sponsored by FXCM. So far I am very disapointed could have done better with a pin! I shall be interested to hear results from other users.

The issue with FXCM / BT was resolved about a month ago in this forum.

The winners were paid. At least 2 of them are actively involved in supporting their robots and another 2 post on FF and confirmed that.

We shall see this week how good the guarantee is.
