Hi everyone,

I’ve read threads on the above subject line, but I haven’t seen threads on other issues concerning FT2 conversion with Meta Trader.
I’ve tried Lazarus Free Pascal, although, I lack experience in Delphi, C++, programming Language to format the above MT to FT2 compatibility Mode; am not sure if I’m explaining it right. However, in it’s (FT), community there was a suggestion for those with a little bit of programming language to explore simple method by utilizing; Socket API for MetaTrader 4 - MT4 that allows establish communication
between MT4 and other trading platform (Brokers)
Also gave idea on; Small description of files: ETC.

I have purchased FT2, but can’t follow the description of files.

Is there any helpful programmer out there that can help me, so others in this arena chat room can make good use, because the suggestion for the above can be posted here for all to resolve whatever issue(s) they face.

I’m a user of ForexTester2, but I’m afraid I have absolutely no idea what the answer to your question is, or even what most of it means. :8:

For what it’s worth, I think you might have a better chance of attracting informed answers by asking in the “Trading Software” section of the forum, rather than here in “Newbie Island”.

I forgot to asked you a question regarding FT2. Are you subscribed to Basic or other, which version are you

subscribed to?

I use the basic and I cannot Import Data (all) as demonstrated on this video below, for signed for VIP

service and cannot Update from Alpari_US in the Box because Forexite is in my Basic version ;

I’m signed in for basic compare to Full Standard subscription if that’s what you have.

Did you use Blog suggestions from their community to get Full Standard Subscription or resolve any issue

you’d before using it now?

If not how did you use the above video to Import Data , and also Generate Tick Data Suite to use now?

Kindly provide me the help because I 've no clue understanding programming language C++, Delphi

And I want to convert my MT4 to 5 to be compatible in FT2. They suggested using //Socket API for

MetaTrader 4 … ETC.

Just learned about FT2 today, thanks Lexys, but I am not sure what you try to accomplish. MT4 is for trading but can also be used for testing and has its own programming language FT2 has more possibilities I think. What are you looking for?

Thanks for the thread. I really need to convert my FT2 Basic to Full Standard that enable FT2 to have Brokers’ Option Box which allows one to import Data or generate Tick Data Suite in visual sever (IE., Signs one in for VIP service), but the Basic subscription wouldn’t allow that. One has only a Broker in the Option Box which does not update from a chosen broker (Forexite) whereas full standard would let one get that from a different broker ( Alpari or other). This will give you the clue of what I’m talking about. If there’s any one who knows how to do programming Language using C++ / Delphi to follow conversion of Meta Trader 4 / 5 that would compatible with FT, kindly respond to my thread.

With apologies, I’m not a user of MetaTrader, as well as being about the least capable person in the whole forum to answer technical questions, being both technophobic and incompetent, myself. Sorry, but I can’t help with these questions.
