Just curious. Is it common for home traders who don’t have degrees to use their portfolio as evidence they can succeed and have a proven track record making money?
I mean from an employers point of view, who cares if you have a piece of paper saying you understand the trade, if you have a proven portfolio of 3+ years. Surely this is better in fact then a degree by someone who’s never traded in their lives?
The best way to show your trading skills is to have a MyFxBook verified account. It is free. The one recruiter I know was looking for such supporting evidence of trading profitability from this verified source, that and a low drawdown. So if you can link your trading account to MyFxBook, then I imagine that there are companies out there that might use this info. Then again, I am doing forex so that I don’t have to work for anyone, so I can’t say for sure except for my very limited experience.
