Hi Everyone, I am Aubrey, a newbie in forex. I’m a stock trader as well locally with the aim of building income to be able to prepare my early retirement at 40 and have the flexibility to spend most of my time taking care of my family. With the instability brought by the pandemic, I know that I need to find ways to learn new skills that can give me more opportunities to achieve my goal and as a fallback when everything at the corporate world ends. Since Forex is the most liquid and volatile market among the financial markets, with the proper strategy and risk management, I think this is the best one step to my goal. Looking forward to grow and learn in this community! Stay safe everyone
Hi, start from the education section and good luck Regards Greg
Thank you. Now starting in preschool and the contents are really cool! Very informative and engaging
What type of strategies do you use?
What do you mean by liquid and volatile? And, what data can you point to that support this claim?
Hi Aubrey and welcome. You`re so right. Every crisis is a new opportunity. Good luck.
Hi FOREXunlimited, I use price action (candlesticks pattern, S&R and volume) in stocks. For Forex, what I mean by liquid is its ability to be bought or sold quickly due to the its market’s high volume and high frequencies of trade. For the Volatility, it’s the amount of price fluctuation in a certain period of time. I don’t have that data to support, but that’s what I know from what I’ve read and observed specifically for the Major pairs, as its being traded significantly and with high volatility especially during a significant news. I know it is more risky, but I see it as well to have a higher opportunity to place a position than trading stocks locally.
Hi Aubrey and I’m sure you’ve done your research and study about the trade already. If not, do begin with the School of Pipsology. Keep analyzing the market and revising your strategies as and when needed. This one strategy has helped me a lot to trade better every next week.
