Just found this community i’m very interested in hooking up with Canadian Traders. I have no doubt there are Canadians Earning in the Forex Markets. Everyone i’ve talked to told me i need to Start here ! Any Solid advice will be muchly appreciated . i was just told to start with Avatrade only to find many areas stating EXCLUDING CANADA Any thoughts all you Traders out there ?
Congrats and welcome to BP. I’m Gp I live in Ontario part time and US part time I’m a full time trader. I have never used ava trade. But no matter what broker you choose make sure you do your research. Start with Google. Type broker name and reviews. You’ll get some answers there Make sure you check out
http://www.forexpeacearmy.com the broker review section here and forex factory. There is a thread there where you can ask who uses them and if they have any complaints. No just take one or two peoples opinions. Since your new I’m assuming you’ll be using a demo account for practice so the first broker you try is not as important as once you get going. But it’s good practice to check them out and ask questions. Google 100 forex
First thing to do is join baby pips school and start learning. Don’t skip or shortcut you’ll be glad you didn’t in the long run. Practice what you learn on baby pips with your demo account. Anything you don’t understand ask questions here. Simple to hear hard to consistently follow. But it’s the only path for long term success. Good Luck

Hello Kaalyb welcome to the forum.Make sure you take full advantage of all the
training they offer.I doubt if there is a better place for beginners to learn about
Fx trading.Ma handle is captgrumpy,I live in Ontario.The only broker I have
used in oanda.ca and have been satisfied with them.One big feature I like is the very generous virtual money practice account they offer,which never expires( in no way am I promoting my broker–I am simply telling you which one I use)
I('m sure there are several good brokers out there,but there are also many that
don’t have a very good reputation–so don’t jump in bed with any of them until you’ve checked them out.
Best of luck luck on your new learning process–it will take a fairly long
journet,but if you the proper mindset it will be an exciting and eventually
a rewarding experience!!
