FXCM No longer, New system

I used to have FXCM before our great government pushed them out. They moved me to FOREX and I HATE IT. I need a new trade system as well…one with a phone app.

Any recommendations there?

I was thinking about ThinkOrSwim

@Keithen, we appreciate how adjusting to a new broker can be tough, especially when you didn’t move by choice. FOREX.com values having you as our customer, and we’d like to keep you here.

From what you described, it sounds like you might be using our FOREXTrader platform. We offer several alternatives. Our new web trading platform is powered by TradingView: http://on.forex.com/webtrading

If you want a live demonstration of how to use it, there is a free webinar you can attend Wednesday at 10 AM New York Time: http://on.forex.com/webinar

We also recently launched a new version of our mobile app for Android and iPhone.

Thanks,
Iam actually in effort of learning it. I really would like the ForexTrader if you could separate the chart from the rest of the platform and have it on its own window. This seems to be the problem with the webtrader as well. I have to use the windows from the trader tool kit and they are not very user friendly. Unless there is a way I am not seeing to save trading systems, I have to go through and re add all my indicators everytime.

Basically I have 1 big screen and a smaller screen. I want a saveable chart on my big screen and all my tools on my small screen. I want ONLY the chart on my big screen.

Is there a way to do this? If there is I will love your platform. ThinkOrSwim doesn’t have that either. I ruled them out.

There are multiple ways to do this with FOREX.com platforms.

For starters, you could simply go to “Layout > Dual Monitors” on your FOREXTrader platform. That will open your charts in a separate window. You can then save the layout after customizing it to your preferences.

Another option is to have FOREXTrader on your first monitor and TradingView on your second monitor. You can then use FOREXTrader for order management and TradingView for charting. Both platforms will let you save your settings for next time.

Hey that didn’t work before!? The dual monitors just kinda stretched it before. Is this an update?

The second way is how I currently do it. I dont mind it but how do you save your setup on trading view?

Thank you for all the help. I will be staying with FOREX.

Hi Keithen,

No recent updates. However, with the “Dual Monitors” layout option, it may not load the charts on your second monitor if you’ve already made certain changes to the chart layouts beforehand. In such cases, you may need to first reset to “Default” layout, and then select “Dual Monitors” layout to get the charts to load on the second screen.

Yes, not only does TradingView let you save your chart setups, these settings are saved to the cloud. That means you can go to any computer (PC, Mac, Linux) with an internet connection and load your saved charts in the browser.

To save your TradingView chart settings, go to “Chart Layout > Save Chart Layout” from the menu bar.

As mentioned above, our platform specialists host a live webinar walking traders through how to use this new web platform every Wednesday at 10 AM New York Time: http://on.forex.com/webinar
