Fxtraderlink

Anyone use fxtraderlink?

Please let me know your views.

I have used a demo with 3 signal providers for the last fortnight, the only active one was fontu1. 50k demo account now at 65,500 (fell Friday from nearly 70k but has been recovering)

Unfortunately unlike zulutrade they don’t have a 'margin-call-o-meter" or similar in demo accounts, so its hard to gauge how much risk I’m taking, whether opening enough/too many lots the acount size and acceptable risk, though their support tell me a similar feature is available in the live account.

I did look at zulutrade first, but opinion seems to be fxtraderlink are better?

I’m looking for a ‘set and forget’ arrangment as I don’t have time to wait and watch (got a full time job away from computer)

Please share your thoughts.

THANK YOU MUCHLY DUDE !

EXACTLY what im getting at — if the guy posting is legit, then doing a demo with 50K is beyond most newbs and foolish to demo for that very reason —

and by the nature of “she protesteth too much !”, i would venture were being spammed !

I fully apologize to the OP if his intentions are honorable, although NO NEWB should work with a 50K demo unless they have 50K to invest !

but if im correct in what i perceive to be an advertising ploy, then I CAUTION every newb to be careful !

but thnx for your observations once again

This is not an advertising ploy. I am trying to find other people’s opinions on this as part of my evaluation of it.

As I have said, I only have the 50k account because that is the only way I can trial it. What do you want me to do? they don’t let you change it.

I was myself curious about the negative pips- my demo account also has negative pips but is profitting. I have looked through the history of all my trades and the only explanation I can come up with is that when a trader goes short it somehow shows in their system as a pip loss when in fact it’s a gain (most of the trades by the signal provider I am using are short).

As far as the high ranking accounts, they don’t actually say how much the account was opened with, so it’s hard to gauge what percentage profit that actually represents. I agree it seems a lot, but am willing to keep an open mind.

Of course by saying anything that could be construed as a defence of the site I’m going to get torn apart for being an advertiser.

Guess I can’t win.

And as far as “she protesteth too much” (it’s he, actually, name of Matt), perhaps it’s because you have been incredibly rude in your responses and as a new member just trying to get an opinion on something (not just on this either, see my other posts too) watching you destroy this thread before anyone has had a chance to answer the question posed and being personally attacked has been extremely frustrating and offensive.

TBH I still don’t understand why the moderators have allowed you to continue to post.

Nice to see another user in the discussion though.

pacmed,

as i said, if its obvious your intentions are only education then I apologize for upsetting you, although i DO NOT apologize for speaking of the 50K account — it is common knowledge that demoing a 50k account and then opening a 1k account destroys most newbs simply because they do not have the same cushion they demoed with and therefore destroy their accounts by using the same tactics employed when they had “50K”.

if you are demoing a 50k account, and have the money to open your account WITH THE SAME AMOUNT, then enjoy and go forth, but you would be doing yourself a phenominal disservice if that were not true !

if you DONT have the 50K, you are simply demoing THE WRONG DEMO — no ifs, ands or buts and should rethink what you are doing !

what i was doing originally was simply WARNING you to be careful because of the truth of the above statements, but your response sparked a touch of suspicion —

once again, if your intentions are honest then I ONLY maintain my warnings of $50K accounts and newbs and hope all goes well otherwise !

enjoy and trade well

I am indeed being very cautious. Part of the reason I’m here. It does seem to good to be true, and that does sound alarm bells in itself. If I believed it was as easy as it looks I would have just set up a live account and gone with it.

Hopefully someone who has been here long enough to prove they’re not an advertiser and has used this site can offer us some actual experiences of it.

I really don’t know how I’m supposed to get any opinions on any site or system on here without being labelled a spammer, but this witch hunt is getting incredibly frustrating.

Once again, I appreciate the 50k demo account is not ideal, and would not dream of transferrring the same settings to a smaller account, but I still don’t see you offering an alternative.

I can only demo this site with a 50k account. It’s the only option.

Ideally they would offer a 2k demo account (the maximum I am looking to invest) but they don’t.

I do not intend to walk away from the opportunity the site may offer without looking into it further, and that’s why I’m here. The only opinion with any currency in this debate (excuse the pun) is that of someone who has used this site live and can share results, good or bad. There must be someone on this forum who has used it, and I sincerely wish they would see this thread so we can make some actual progress.

I completely agree the 50k demo account is a poor indicator of what to expect from a live account. That has never been questioned.

The only problem I have with this is the way you have spoken to me and the accusations you have made. I very much doubt you would speak to me (or anyone) in that way in a ‘real life’ situation and it is no more acceptable here.
This is just going round in circles now, so can we agree on this? then maybe we can move on.

A 50k demo account is far from ideal for most new traders and is a poor indicator of results that can be achieved with a smaller live account. It is, however, the only way to demo the service provided at fxtraderlink.

anyone have any experiences of fxtraderlink?
