GBP holding ground after the 2nd meaningful vote

Hey peeps, the vote just finished, with the massive defeat on the vote + comments from the EU, would have thought GBP should be dropping??
I mean just the noise that EU offered something yesterday sent the GBP soaring, so I am struggling to understand why GBP is not dropping. Does anyone perhaps have some explanations on this? Thanks!

Yes. IMO Uncertainty is built into the price. This vote does not make it any more uncertain than it was yesterday.

Yeah I’d say it was priced in also.

Thanks for the reply! I see that the GBP is rallying this morning ahead of the London open, is there a reason for that? All the news feed I am seeing has quite a negative outlook on the UK, so this is messing with me head a bit lol, not so sure what is good / bad news anymore.

The expression “meaningful vote” may be starting to sound a bit hollow…
