GBP/JPY pip calculation

I am still trying to come to grips with Pip calculations and I would appreciate help with the GBP/JPY
sold @159.561 and cleared @157.980 = 1.581 …is this 1,581 pips on this pair?

Where do I go from here please.
Using (misusing) a one lot Pip calculator, the trade was worth US11,459 using Yen value 137.96.
Is this for real!!!
Otherwise, can some kind Soul point me in the correct direction and show me how to arrive at the correct value.
many thanks
John

In JPY pair pricing, the second decimal digit represents a pip. So a price of 157.980 represents 15,798 pips.

Other pairs have a pip represented by the 4th decimal digit.

many thanks tommor,
that makes sense as the profit drops from 11K to 1.1K
cheers
