I’ve been here for three or four years I think. Time flies!

And I came here looking for money!

At first, I thought such talk was unhealthy. But, I think it’s ok to want money.

There may be some folks that came here just for fun. And that’s ok.

But I need money. Food, shelter, etc. It all costs money.

I was on a path of living a broke life. Always just enough money to get by; but never getting ahead.

I thought I had financial discipline but I didn’t. My goals were unclear, and my plans were crumbling right in front of me.

I found out about forex, started reading books, and eventually I found Babypips School of Pipsology.

The books were really helpful, but nothing broke down the forex market as comprehensively as Pipsology.

The Pipsology course literally breaks everything down in babysteps. It doesn’t get any easier than that!

That course guided me thru the terminology, the discipline, the risks, the strategies, the brokers, time zones, and everything in between.

I had journal which I ended with reaching my goal of three consecutive profitable months.

There’s much more I must accomplish, but I don’t know where I’d be without Babypips, The School of Pipsology, and the members of the Babypips community.

It is 20 years of Babypips impacting immense value in the world of trading.

In my case, it’s been twelve years of being a member of this forum. I discovered babypips as one would stumble upon a treasure site.I think it is providence that brought me to babypips. It happened when I bought a printed copy of the lessons from a book dealer more than a decade ago. Undoubtedly, my first understanding of the markets came from babypips.

After some time, I joined the forum. The desire to learn, to add to my knowledge, and acquire trading experience was my driving motive. I was not disappointed. Talk about a community with various resources at your disposal to equip you with the necessary information to face and beat the markets — that is babypips.

The majority of my forex education is attributed to the selfless efforts of the babypips team. I am grateful to be one of the beneficiaries of the hard work that is evident in the organisation of the site.

I’ve been part of Babypips for a little over a year now. What brought me here was curiosity and strong desire to learn how to become a profitable trader. I wanted to understand the markets , build solid trading skills , and grow with a community of like minded people. Honestly, its been a real blessing stumbling across this site. It opened door to knowledge, discipline and a whole new thinking about money and trading. All the success I have it now is because of you guyz. May your cups never dry and may blessings follow you are the rest of your lives. I want to make an impact to my community here in Africa and thank you for that. Blessings

I’ve been here for I think about 8 years now and honestly, it’s been such a great experience for me. :blush: It’s honestly been a while so I’m not quite sure how I got here. But I remember my uncle mentioned forex trading before and pointed me to babypips where he also learned the basics of forex. :blush: Looking back now, I don’t think he’s been ever active on the forums :sweat_smile: but he speaks highly of the school and continues to recommend it to anyone who’s interested in trading. :blush:

Big Birthday Congratulations to Babypips and all its staff. 20 years is a big achievement.

Although 21 years is still the age of majority in some countries (and, I believe, in some parts of the US?) you have already matured into something very important and progressive many years back. :grin:

During my 10 years following BP there have been many major upgrades and improvements and many additional services and facilities added. But the original core areas like the forex school, the forum, the calendar, etc are still what keep so many members coming back here.

These are the things that attracted me when I first visited here, out of curiosity, after having heard of Babypips somewhere in the Internet.

The forum is a big part of BP, and one can meet people and even continue friendships outside the forum. But the forum is only one part of all that BP has to offer. Something for everyone, I guess.

Blessed 20th Babypips…!

Joined back in 2013 (so 12+ years here), after leaving my last full-time job. At that time a family friend was making her living with forex, and she pointed me here. The school of Pipsology was invaluable, but it was years of trial and error, and some posts from more established traders here (especially “tommor”) that led me to finally thinking I could be consistenty profitable.

Hello! First of all forgive my not-so-good English, I’m Italian.
I’ve been around here for about 3-4 years. I absolutely love, love, love BabyPips’ exclusive style: tons of valuable lessons, a nice community and (never seen anything similar elsewhere) a very funny and lovely graphic style. One could (mistakenly) think this is not a serious place - all those cartoons and friendly texts… but they would be wrong. Actually, this is an intelligent choice: sure, trading must be seriously taken, but this doesn’t mean it must be sad! I enjoyed a lot of serious stuff with all these lovely cartoons here and there!
Please always keep on with this perfect style, you mix serious themes with fun in a great way. I give you my best wishes for your 20th anniversary (by the way, I am celebrating my birthday in November as well, but… it’s far more than 20 years, in fact that’s three times your age).

What a really cool collection of members wishing you a happy 20 years. That’s crazy! I got started here and got trading a live account because of the forums. I mean, it got me profitable. It’s not filthy riches, but it’s getting me on my way to trying another prop account. So hopefully the bigger funds can actually make a difference.
