Anyone have experience with LQDFX?
Does anyone trade FX via Coinexx during day-time hours? The spreads are untradeable. I spoke with support about adding more liquidity providers and was told that they will not be adding more LPās.
They werenāt that bad earlier today, now they are fat due to early close for xmas.
Yeah, I canāt believe people are trading right now.
This morning was a good session with UJ dumping, Oil+Ngas and indexes. Great day imo!
Edit: I expect the rest of this week to be somewhat thin, l didnāt really notice much difference from Finpro spreads. Next week will be the real test.
Iām not sure I would agree with you on āuntradableā spreads. Until 21:00 GMT I think their spreads for mainstream FX are quite good, with some exceptions, but I wouldnāt say āuntradableā. On rollover and during the 21:00 GMT hour, pretty dismal but the Asian session again is OK, but with some notable exceptions. This is Christmas Eve afternoon in the U.S. and here are the spreads which are, of course, quite wide, and I agree with you these are untradable, but are an exception to the rule:

TURNKEY FOREX MAURITIUS JURISDICTION TRANSITION
Iād like to encourage folks to support TurnkeyForex in its transition
to the new domicile in Mauritius. They are explicitly U.S. friendly,
and have among the best commissions, performance and pricing which
are available to U.S. persons (I hope that continues) and they do
claim their segregated client funds policy is an extra assurance.
As regards FinProTrading being acquired by Coinexx, I would really
like to see FinProTradingās formerly nearly 100 millisecond execution
times to become available on the Coinexx MT4 accounts which, last time
I measured, were executing in the 500 millisecond range. I am
not playing the āspeed gameā per se, but it never hurts to have
faster executions.

But yes, this was during a bad time. But I do feel that adding more liquidity providers would help, even during slower times.

Not necessarily! My brokers are connected to tier 1 LPs and their spreads are worst then Coinexx. Have a look
The culprit here is not any broker but the holidays! Iāll be testing them Next year when the market gets back to business!

You are suggesting that having more liquidity would not tighten the spreads?
No Im not suggesting that in any way. What I meant was the wide spreads you see on coinexx are not due to lack of LPs but due to the time of the year . It same across the board. Weāll get to see their true spreads when the market is back in action next week.
My broker(s) usually arenāt as bad as they look in the images but looking at coinexx spreads you shared it looks like theyāll be way better than what I have when the market is more liquid.
For sure. It was a bad time to trade due to the market closing soon and the holidays etc., but even during normal trading there are only a handful of pairs with single-digit spreads. I just think that it would benefit them to consider adding more liquidity, especially for short-term traders.
Agree! Iām planning to talk to them when they open after Christmas and see what they have to say on this.
It was a bad time to judge spreads. Not sure why youāre wasting so much mental energy on it. Will see how it looks next week with full session. The spreads earlier in the day looked fine. Not sure what your strategy is, but you only need a few majors to make consistent money.

Iām noticing a much tighter spread on my two fav instruments on Coinexx. WTI and NGAS.
COINEXX / FINPROTRADING MERGER NORMAL OPS
Operations at FinProTrading seem completely undisrupted
in Forex, as Iām doing some scalping nowā¦
[EDIT] on Android mobile MetaTrader 4, I did have to change
the formerly FinPro account to use Coinexx-Live as the
server. Same account number and passā¦
[EDIT]ā¦ guess Iāll do the same on my main configurations
for FinPro, change to use Coinexx-Live.srv server file
Havenāt had to adjust any MT4 server files, etcā¦ yet

Itās interesting that there has been no mention of the Coinexx/Finpro merger in either Finance Magnates or LeapRate. Those boys should get in the habit of checking this thread on a daily basis, to find out whatās going on in the offshore world

Yeah, I didnāt see anything from the Coinexx side regarding the merger. Curious if this was formally announced yet.
