Going offshore to escape the CFTC

Hyper, have you ever done a similar analysis on LQDFX? Would be curious to see.

I have offered if anybody wants, to evaluate a few technical parameters
on a Live account only. So youā€™d have to change your MT4 password,
give me access, if you want me to check orders latencies, etc. then Iā€™d
have to ā€œwasteā€ a few bucks potentially on very small orders, or I could
just give you the Spread statistics without any executions. Then you
get your account back, and change the password. A kind of ā€œhonor
systemā€ testā€¦

So, if anybody wants to take me up on this strictly limited offer,
Iā€™m happy to do it; since I would also be curious. ECN accounts only,
and ideally Spread plus Commission type accounts only; but the main
constraint, since I am not currently messing with MT5, is that it
be an MT4 account which Iā€™m sure knocks out lots of youā€¦ It would
be much more work for me to set up an MT5 test scenario right nowā€¦

Does anyone have experience with AAFX - not to be confused with AAAFX - which is a known scammer.

AAFX

St. Vincent / Grenadines
Trade Server in NYC

I have no experience with them. I am live trading on LQDFX, have demos with them, LMFX, Coinexx, and Tradersway.

The published ECN spreads are awful. CAD/JPY 5.6 PIPs
versus <1.0 on others ?? really?

[EDIT] just compare my published spreads on Coinexx during non-rollover
periods, for comparisonā€¦

hyperscalper

Thanks much. It looks like for most of the majors theyā€™re OK on spreads, but the minors and crosses are not good. I canā€™t see GBPJPY on the mobile interface. I think theyā€™re a spread only model - not spread + commission, but I could be wrong.

Check your PM, signed up at LQDFX for you to look at.

i have not had this problem yet with coinexx but this is one of my fears dealing with coinexx and how they handle crypto, they also say giving them wrong address they canā€™t recover your funds but tradersway had recover a small $150 for a client who gave the wrong crypto address

https://www.forexpeacearmy.com/forex-reviews/14988/coinexx-forex-brokers

i have pointed coinexx to that forexpeacearmy thread so lets wait for their response

If funds are stolen or erroneously sent to the wrong address, then those funds cannot be recovered, assuming that cryptocurrency was used to withdraw. If Tradersway refunded someone, they did so out of their own pocket.

Calling my bluff? LOL  will take a look at what I can doā€¦

hyperscalper

Yeah they intrigued me a bit, so would be curious to get some further info/stats on them.

well coinexx now saying they can try to recover your crypto if itā€™s 5k or more anything less is not worth it, so i donā€™t know

Leaving his account in crypto while he was on vacation? Okayā€¦

Also, if Coinexx said they sent him an email about the transfer it sounds like his account was hacked. He probably ignorantly responded to a phishing email.

NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER log into your account from an email.

I have never had even a hiccup from Coinbase. Of course I verified everything they asked From The Start as I was transferring a rather large sum to them via bank wire.

I think asking for your fund transfers to be safe while avoiding uploading your picture is a little much when youā€™re accessing your account via VPN. Coinbase is inundated with hackers/scammers on a daily basis and if you appear to them as a high risk individual (U.S. person using a VPN to access a U.S. account), donā€™t expect for things to go smoothly. Just my opinion on the issue.

LAF

Unless the transfer was made using GUSD or some other centralized currency, then the transfer cannot be reversed without the recipient actually sending it back. If Coinexx or any other broker is claiming to be able to recover funds for decentralized crypto transfers, then they are doing so out-of-pocket.

PRELIMINARY LQDFX SPREAD TEST RESULT

courtesy of Cryptosurf we have a couple of 10 minute period
scans of Bid/Ask spreads and some latency info.
This is an MT4 ECN account at LQDFX.

From Amsterdam, latencies are 160-180 ms according to
MT4 Journal ping latencies. From U.S. MDT Idaho location
also seeing roughly the same range. This indicates that
their servers are located in New York most likely, and that
colocation in that area is likely the best for LQDFX.

Spreads, with 2 samples indicate that apparently, for some
of the symbols, they may be blocking the minimum spread
to 1.0 ā€¦ you be the judge.

In general, the spreads are acceptable for scalp type trading.

LQDFX-initial-spread-scan2

No Order latency tests have yet been done.

[EDIT] here is preliminary latency for placement of pending
and cancellations, and for a couple of 0.01 LOT Market
fills and closures. A bit slow on the Market Order operations (msecs)ā€¦

[EDIT2] sorry, those were for the EUR/USD Currency Pairā€¦

[EDIT3] Here are the transactions and we also see commissions are a bit
higher than some othersā€¦

Big Thanks to Cryptosurf for this access !

[EDIT] a half hour into the rollover hour, we see a wide range
of spreads, some tradable and others not. This is fairly normal
behaviour, though, across brokers during the rollover hour.

ok tell me if this is wrong i just got some info, depends on where you send your crypto from there is an ID number or transaction number attach that the sender or the receiver does not sees so lets say you send your bitcoin to litecoin address and tell your broker your broker ask for this ID number and tried to track the funds down as to where they went and might be able to recover them.

either way coinexx say they will respond

ok i just check my coinbase pro account deposit and withdrawal there is a

Transaction ID: and a Transaction Hash clicking on Transaction Hash tells you the detail of the transaction, im intrested in this subject although i never had any problem moving my coins i would hate to lose 10k or more on a transaction from a mistake on my end what im hearing from you guys moving coins must be mistake free and there is no recovery.

i understabd no recovery from desktop wallets and hard drive wallets

Yeah I noticed the commissions are a bit higher. This account is what they call the "ECN"
The ā€œGOLDā€ account has no commissions but wider spreads.
