Going offshore to escape the CFTC

It is a precarious time for sure. These props should only be a means to fund one’s own account anyways.

In traditional brick and motor props, successful traders eventually leave to trade on their own. No reason to split profits with the firm any longer.

Well done. I trade DOW and NAS and just a few trades a day after the opening bell is all it takes.

Thanks! You were spot on about this. My only regret is not finding it sooner.
Which client do you use? I’ve been using MT5 because of familiarity, but there are a lot of others available.

Mt5 with amp and Tradingview via Tradovate. Seems to work fairly well. Im considering switching AMP to Tradingview as well.

Tradingview seems to have come a long way in trade execution with various brokers. I dont place a lot of trades as it is. At most im usually 20-40 NAS micro and 2-5 Dow mini’s.

Easton TECH(Angelo & CO) owns most of the prop firms, IT’S A MONOPOLY GAME! with all kinds of manipulation…scams…payment denials. Data sharing across all, most of the profitable traders either do not get paid out or banned . Most of the Propfirms are modern-day casinos masked by forex market terms. They have made their own evaluation terms. There are a few good trustworthy prop firms out there, but I’m just stick with FTMO for aslong as they stay in business.

Coinexx website is not loading for me. Anyone know if they are still operational?

Hankotrade is suddenly rejecting my login credentials. Anyone else?

OspreyFX is looking good. Anyone try them?

Coinexx and Hankotrade use the same service, so the problem could be IT-related.

Thanks. I am suspecting that, because Hankotrade was having issues the other day (for me, anyway). When I try to log in, it tells me that the email address is not correct (it is), but it only tells me that after a good minute, as if it is timing out or something.

I just tried both and also have the same problem, even though i don’t trade with neither i still have an account with both

If you ever feel inclined to check, I would be curious to know if you see any sort of feed issue on Friday, around 17.33. I have a ticket submitted with Hankotrade, but they haven’t gotten back to me yet. I am curious if Coinexx had similar issues, also, if they are using the same service. I stopped using Coinexx a while back.

I wonder why OspreyFX was never considered here. I cannot remember any reasoning about it. I am looking at them now as a potential option.

Nothing else. Just the chart. Thank you for checking. I will just wait to hear back from their support, then.

Clint didn’t list Ospreyfx on the list because he didn’t receive enough feedback.

Thanks. I have also ProsperityFX on my list, but didn’t look into them too much because they do not offer MT5. I have seen some people on Youtube using Osprey, Hanko and Hugo’s Way. Osprey and Hanko have MT5, but not Hugo’s Way.

As of now Mt4 is my only trading platform, and I hope brokers never abandon it.

I also soo Ospreyfx is offering 1:3000 Leverage now

I saw the ad for it, but do not know much about it. I am assuming that it is for smaller account sizes. I know that they cap leverage if account balance is 500K+.

As far as metatrader goes, I do prefer to see brokers offering both, because it shows that they are willing and able to spend the extra money and resources to accommodate their traders.

I can use either-or, but I prefer MT5, as there are improvements with it and small things that I like/prefer, but feel that most traders probably have their indicators and EA’s compiled for MT4, so they prefer to stick with it for that reasoning.

Yes good for smaller accounts, as you can see here the leverage goes down as you account grows, you will be at 1:500 when your account hit 2k
