Going offshore to escape the CFTC

Just out of curiosity - has anyone been approved for a PlexyTrade account since they sent that letter out a few months ago saying they were stopping accepting US clients?
If not, maybe they should be removed from the list of brokers accepting US clients.

Perhaps I’ll start a YouTube channel to document my home construction process in Lyford Cay, and maybe lifestyle videos, which could be a bit of a stretch considering how much I value my privacy; we’ll see.

PlexyTrade made a new broker, TradeSmart. They accept US clients. You have to select the ā€˜Other’ option to proceed during registration when selecting a country, as the United States is not an option. I made an account with them, but have yet to verify my identity to start trading. I would assume they operate the same as PlexyTrade which was a great brokerage option. I think maybe the brokers accepting US clients list should be changed from PlexyTrade to TradeSmart. I am curious if anyone has tested them out.

Good post, Mike. I will make the necessary change to the List.

Welcome to our thread!

Although I have received all my withdrawals in a timely manner, in less than 4 hours, in all seriousness, their claim of one-hour withdrawals is false.

Strap that, I just looked at the email they sent me; we have now exceeded the 4-hour timeframe i said above, It’s been 5 hours now. By the way, when they send you the email, they inform you that your withdrawal will be processed within 12-24 hours, but recently they’ve been adhering to what their website states about 1-hour withdrawals. At least 6 consecutive withdrawals arrived within that 1-hour timeframe. I’m not worried, but they should remove that 1-hour withdrawal timeframe from their website.

Just call out their inaccuracies, we keep it real around here every broker should be aware of that by now.

My apologies, this withdrawal was my fault; however, I wish they would have sent me an email to inform me about the problem. I initiated my withdrawal at 11:31 AM on May 1st, and I just logged into my back office on May 2nd at 3:10 AM to check on the withdrawal, and it indicated that it was denied, so I contacted them via chat, and they explained the issue.

thanks for confirming. I am checking with the concerned team. Please stay connected.

James, the withdrawal was denied due to incorrect wallet address.

Please raise a fresh request and will get that processed instantly.

I have been monitoring Fyntura; I just witnessed this individual withdraw $177k with them. I have read here that someone experienced some difficulties with withdrawals.

I LEFT Fyntura After Withdrawing 177K - Here’s Why (SHOCKING!)

In this shocking video, I reveal the real reasons behind my decision to leave Fyntura after withdrawing a staggering $177,000.

I attempted to open an account with PlexyTrade, and I was denied.
According to the rep on Live Chat, ā€œWe do not accept clients from your region.ā€

Has anyone here had a different recent experience with PlexyTrade?

Cheers, thanks for confirming that for me Clint.

Somebody here replied to my post,

ā€œSometimes it’s beneficial to select ā€œotherā€ when registering; you understand the suggestion?ā€

So, selecting ā€œotherā€ doesn’t work?

I am not familiar with TradeSmart.

Please furnish some additional information, starting with their website and where they are registered.

Thanks.

While I don’t see that !

But yes they use the same technology like other brokers MT4/MT5/ACT. Something to keep in mind.

Big disclaimer - I like any broker who has stood by the test of time and for me that’s coinexx. Duramarkets is a relatively newcomer - even though they have more reviews on trust pilot - something that trade locker also did very beautifully.

I wish ACT guys are listening ! They have been around for 25 years now

It appears that duramarkets.com is operational again.

Additionally, duramarkets.net will reroute you to .com, bringing users back to their original domain name.

Strange and interesting.

I’m certain the brokers are watching this thread more closely than Achilles watched the shores of Troy. But like the kings who stayed in their tents, they refuse to join the battle.

Imagine a broker who actually joins the conversation—who speaks to the very clients they serve. Wouldn’t that be a sight?

BTW

Checked https://market101.com/ again and spoke to the agent on their chat. It seems they are now offering MT4 as well - but it seems to be the cracked version similar to what hugosway is offering. Is hugosway and market101 related :face_with_monocle:

Any inputs will be much appreciated

Thanks, James.
Let’s have a discussion about adding TradeSmart to our List.
I’m calling for opinions and votes on this question.

For now, I think PlexyTrade should be removed from the List
(regardless of our decision on TradeSmart).
Do you guys agree?

I’m glad Duramarkets has gotten their internet domain problem solved. However, I think it was a mistake for them to give up the .net domain name — now anyone can buy that name and create trouble (scams?) for Duramarkets.

I will fix the List to correctly link to the Duramarkets .com website, email, etc.

Yes, I will remove them from the list, almost exactly the same company but with a different intent to keep the U. S. regulators away from the pleyatrade brand.

I vote to add TradeSmart and remove PlexyTrade, since they are no longer accepting US clients.

I just noticed that when I clicked on it, I was utilizing .net to access my back office earlier and now it’s closed down; I concur they should have retained the. net domain.
