26 year young black male, recently released from prison, I got “GOT” by family members. I finished my year of parole at a nonprofit Christian faith based program for those facing difficulties with addictions to drugs and other harmful substances. I ended up doing 13 months there and leaving, with a foundation of biblical truths, a bunch of mentors, and friends that I can now call family.
I have a long history with music programming and now a days if it doesn’t make money it doesn’t make sense.
Just looking back on all the money that came and left it was only through GOD’S GRACE and DIVINE INTERVENTION that I was able to slow down and begin to develop a sense of financial literacy.
Also while in the program we ended up going to a program titled Financial Peace University and that definitely changed my life for the better.
