I came across an article somewhere that was talking about trend identification. It discussed a lot of popular methods, but the one that caught my attention was a demark moving average. It was advocated because it essentially showed 3 “modes/movements”: up, down, and flat… rather than just up or down.
I’ve seen other demark indicators (TD seq., Mouteki-Demark, and Demarker), but I’ve never seen an MA. Wasn’t sure what this MA thing was about. I’m not familiar with all of the clever counting/sequential strategies of Demark, so I was curious if the MA worked its way into the scheme of things.
Anyone heard of or, better yet, use a TD MA as described above?
