Hello everyone,
I am new here today after being introduced by a colleague of my wife.
I had been employed as a consultant quality and fabrication manager for a large European Company for several years, before that I was working full time in engineering and fabrication Companies in Australia.
I have not worked for several years and always thought I was semi retired but that was a dream as year after year no new opportunities came my way, the last chance was this year with a friend who headed to China to work on a large engineering project and was going to introduce me to his company boss as a consultant engineering quality manager. However, the covid 19 virus has struck and the job I was hoping for did not happen, in fact my friend was also laid off as the project was cancelled after several Months of lock-down and quarantine problems.
I have had the idea of trading for some time but never knew how to or where to start until my wife told me of her friend at work who was doing very well after just over one year of trading.
welcome to this forum community . its a very good forum for the traders who are particularly newcomers , i hope you will enjoy with great learning. good luck
Welcome mate, learn to earn, it’s quite simple, however my reply to all posts like this it takes a lot of capital to supplement an income or a very good system to increase your bank.
If you look at the statistics they don’t read well for FX trading, the average failure rate is around 75% (probably higher).
A lot of traders give up within 5 years if not before and have blown their bank a number of times on the way.
My advice start on a demo account, develop a trading plan, set yourself a target or goals, trade the demo for at least 6 months and if you go live start off with a bank which you can afford, in other words it’s enough to capitalise your trading, but you can afford to lose.
On the positive side the 1 in 4 who are successful enjoy trading, are usually only too willing to help others achieve success, and are trading with one goal in mind to make money.
Good luck and good trading
