Hey I’m Jason from London UK, in my late 30s. I have looked into forex a few times over the years and on this site some years ago but gave up.

This time im commited to learning, I have been reading through the babypips school but thats all so far.

It would be nice if I could talk to someone with some experience or better still watch and learn from someone as I think I would learn more that way.

I would like to get to a point where I can make a living from trading, I don’t expect to become rich but if I can make £100-£300 a day that would be satisfying. Of course more money would be better :slight_smile:

Hello Jay,

Open a demo account first with a reputable broker like FXCM ,Oanda etc, and keep reading the babypips school. Try to place a trade on demo account and get used to the platform.

Understand the basic principles of trading, ask questions about anything you don’t understand, I am sure you will get your answer.

Keep realistic expectation when you start trading with real account.

I have opened one with FX Pro, I don’t know if thats good or not and I paced a couple of trades. Of course I had no idea what I was doing.

I guess it will be sometime before I go and open a live account.
