Hello everyone. I’m Misunderstood, 24 years old and recently graduated. I gave some guy $500 last year to help me trade and was only given back about $286 after 6 months with his reason being that the market was volatile and a lot of other reasons.
That’s why I’m here now. I want to learn this myself. Take the risks myself and probably make enough to feed me and my large family for the rest of my life.
If you have any useful ideas or pointers for me, please let me know as I’m open to learning, and assimilate very fast.

I hope I get to understand you properly. 
Although his reason was probably right (given that the market really is volatile and sometimes, it has unexpected moves), I agree that it’s best to really learn forex yourself. Since money is involved, a lot of people try to take advantage of others. But don’t worry. There are lots of nice and experienced people here so you can always just ask for other people’s opinions before you actually spend on anything. Good luck!
