Hello There, my name is Darren. I am a complete newbie when it comes to day trading. I have done some long term investing using the FTSE 100 + S & P 500 but they are more pension funds than anything else. I live in England and currently spend a lot of time reading success books like Rich Dad, Poor Dad.
A friend of mine seems to be an absolute wizard with day trading and does very well from it. I am not looking to makes tonnes of money fast. I simply want a side Hussle/side income on top of my Salary and something i can sink my time into as i do have a bit of down time. I am very keen to learn and as I have been told by friends day trading is something you can do for years and still never know to much and that excites me.
I have spent some time reading through the introduce yourself forum and I have enjoyed reading many posts from people in different walks of life.

Experience is key. Fx trading is highly speculative and high risk. It’s not an income source because you can lose money. Something that newbies don’t understand or ignore.
That’s why over 80% fail. This is the reality whatever friends and social media say.
So forget about money and start by learning how to trade properly and proficiently by educating yourself on this great site. There is no short cut.

HI Steve, Thanks for the advice mate. Don’t worry my friends haven’t pulled the wool over my eyes and they have explained there is a lot of risk and a lot of people fail when it comes to trading. I plan to put a lot of time into research and I except there is lots of risk involved.
