I am very new to forex and I wanted to introduce myself to everyone. My name is David and I am a college student from Atlanta. I have about 2 years left in school and my goal is to learn how to make a living trading currency. Currently I have a demo FXCM Micro account and been playing around with it for about 3 weeks.
Im looking forward to learning and hopefully making some money!

Hi David!! Welcome here! You have plenty of time to learn before you finish school, and you can be sure that you’ll find everything that you need in this site. So little by little everything is going to start to make sense, just be patient, two years is good.

Great that you join this forum, I joined here just a little while ago…It is very helpful and there is always someone to answer any question that you might have regarding forex.
Try diff demo accounts, and don�t open a live one until you are fully sure

May I add, when you do open a live account start with micro accont, its safer amd its gona help you avoid losses. just like your first demo account you will most likly blow it .

Hey David, A-Town represent! I’m from the dirty south as well. The learning curve is steep but stick with it and get your hands on all the information you can. Expect loads of frustration and the occasional breakthrough. I’ve been at it a little over six months and I’m just now slowly inching my way towards profitability.

Obviously this is my first post but i intend use it properly,
so here you go:
Its as simple as it seems so just keep it that way and you just might
get it right the first time.
These arent tips or rules but just look for posts by one ray_1 and
use his signature for a week and see what happens to your account.
