Hello

Hello every one. I’m just getting started in Forex trading and hoping learn a few things and make a little money at the same time.

What’s up snapsstary and welcome to the community! Have you been through the School of Pipsology? It’s a great place to start for beginners and to learn a thing or two  Good luck and hoping to see more from ya down the road!

Hey there snaps.

Definitely check out the educational material babypips has to offer - it’s top notch.
Just keep in the back of your mind though - what is it you truly seek to attain through trading?

If you want to become a professional, then you need to train, act, and think like one from the start.
Learning to trade is no easy endeavor. Focus on the process, not the results (i.e. money).

I have been diligently reading the school of pipoligy. I’ll be honest and I am in it for the money, but I will be striving to do it correctly, and with lots of practice.

Try to remember - process comes first, then money. If you get that backwards, you’ll be setting yourself up for some frustration.

Yes I agree. I’m going to bide my time and practice with what I would realistically be starting off with when I open an account.

That’s a great idea.

A common tactic is price action…if you’re interested in it, here’s a tip…

Use two charts for each pair…one with markings, analysis, notes…another just completely naked except for open positions and pending orders. It helps see both sides of the coin.

Also, don’t overwhelm yourself trading 20 pairs, pick 5 or 6 to start.
