I have recently tried to change broker, my old broker allowed funding via paypal. The new broker requires funding by bank transfer. I need an account based in USD, in a UK bank. Ive been to all the high street banks and none of them appear to offer over the counter USD accounts. Lloyds does but they require $3,500 in the account or the charge $30 per month, and dont offer interest on any balance.
Has anyone had this problem and found the solution to it ?
No I did not have this problem ever. I have one broker in UK and with an usd account and funded by a bank account in euros. There was no problem.
I think the solution is to choose another broker.
High street banks don’t cater to this service, you’ll need to go up a class, but that means you’ll need more money.
I think you’re going to have to pay exchange rate conversion fees, to fund a dollar based broker account. Then make your millions and open a multi currency bank account.
