guys, i wanted to ask the experienced traders if they know of any training which isnt expensive or a rip off. i heard that there are good training facilities in USA. i m based in UK bytheway.

i m looking for training in person like seminars or one on one etc… not online training or dvd or anything like that. does anyone know where to go or browse if i wanted to expand my knowledge and skills as a trader.

any sugestions are highly apreciated.

You could try James’ 40-100 pips a day live trading. You could look at his threads and get an idea how he trades and the basic rules but Ive been trading live for a couple weeks and He has more setups than are posted and also I find it very helpful that he gives us targets and basically thinks out loud while he is making his decisions. He has a very good wisdom about the markets and even if you don’t care for his style for some reason Im sure it will make you a better trader. I know you wouldnt be physically in person but the beuty of the internet is you can be connected live and see how a very experienced trader does it. BTW You will never find a more affordable live mentoring program anywhere. Good luck, John

So here ; I give you mine …

Lets face it…you cannot do any better than to go step by step thro the Babypips school on this forum.

I say this as a retired high school teacher.

If you are reluctant to do this, then I would argue that you are being lazy - not a good way to start forex trading. Spoon feeding never helps anyone when entering the dog eat dog world of forex.

I think you’re being a bit harsh here. yuv has asked specifically about in-person training. As an educator, I know you must realize that some people just don’t learn as efficiently from reading as they do from hearing and/or seeing.

In that case, one thing Yuv could do is make contact with Tess on this forum(also in the UK), thro the private messages facility on this forum to find out what live tuition is available.

Of course, the tuition will cost money, my aim was to spare the person of the expense.
Such teaching should really only go so far as to get the person started and on their way. Assignment (homework) work in the tuition would be extremely good.

But after that, I feel the person needs to start to paddle their own canoe in order to gain strength. Further guidance can come very effectively thro the posts on this forum.

i really apreciate your opinions. maybe i forgot to mention that i have finished babypips school at least three times and still reading it(not being lazy). i m glad to say that the school has been the best training for me sooo far.

i have also been reading boooks and browsing the net and in the forums and been very commited to learning about trading specailly forex.

i just thought it will be very helpfull to have a one on one training with someone whos more experienced than me. anyways thanks alot for the replies guys. i shall keeep on searching and learning…
