A few years ago I had the privilege of meeting one very successful and well respected forex trader, he mentioned, in passing, that he would not let his own 16 year old son loose on forex until he had done the Babypips course.

I appreciate your post. However, I am a little concerned about your title.
It’s my personal belief that you should follow your own path. In other words, don’t become a trader just because everyone else in your family does it.
I’ve tried getting my seven-year-old son interested in what I do, but he insists I’m stealing money from other people. A seven-year-old boy with a corporate morality objection, go figure.
