Since Ive decided I prefer longer term trading, Ive decided to use this demo account to trial the 3 Ducks trading method.

Just had a quick peek and cant believe my eyes!
1 candle spiked right up to 1.24435 taking out my SL which was at 1.24432 before diving down to 1.24156 on the very same candle!!!
$123 loss, grrr
Win some, lose some, but that was particularly annoying 
Took another SHORT @ 1.24728 with a number of TP levels to try and lock in some profit
Expected that to be an overnighter but hit my targets early to give a nice $324.30 profit 
Just entered a small 10k trade on EUR/USD. It seems to be on an upward trend the last few days overall and has broken through the upper line of the previous downward trend.
LONG @1.24948, TP at 20 pips, SL at 10 trailing at 16:40 hours
Okay, just closed automatically when price hit TP for profit after comm of $20.45
Been following EUR/USD this morning as its bounced around.
Just took 100k LONG @ 1.24625 after it bounced back up off the support level at 1.24550, 10pip trailing stop loss, TP at 30 pips
Ooof! 30 second downward spike dropped price from 1.24625 to 1.24490, taking out my SL before finishing the candle at 1.24625 for loss of -$107.48
Watching Eur/Usd today.
Generally falling but there seems to be some support at 1.22880 area and minor resistance at 1.23450. Price currently between the 2 and moving up towards the resistance line. Will wait and see if it breaks through or rebounds, in which case I would expect it to break down through the 1.22880 support later.
Went SHORT at 10:57, 100k @1.23228, hit profit at 13:50 @1.22747 for very nice profit of $473.62
Just gone SHORT on Eur/Usd, 100k @1.21764, SL at 15 pips, TP at 35 pips. RR 1:2

Opened pc today and Euro had rallied! Took out my SL for loss of -$156.31
Still, good short-term uptrend in place so took quick scalp, 100k LONG @1.21934, closed 15 mins later @ 1.22013 for profit of +$71.68
Trend has now turned again, will keep an eye on it to see if sustained

Not expecting much action today but the downward trend continues on all 4 time frames.
I went short at 1.23813 on 12/17. The pair broke new lows and showed lower highs almost every session since. My stop is at 1.2355. That is just above the first session that traded completely below break even. I will move my stop further south if and when the seven day high goes below it. I like to let it ride. Let profits run and cut losses short.

I’m demo-ing at the moment and trying to behave as I may when I’m live, i.e. with limited funds, so I tend not to let them run too long as it ties my capital up. Hopefully when Ive grown my live account I can stay onboard for longer.

40 pip spike took out my SL, immediately turned down 34 pips straight after. So much for Xmas cheer!

Well, lasted all of 25 minutes before hitting trailing SL at 1.22061 for +4.6 pips, net profit $23.00

Slight change in strategy. recently Ive been taken out by 1 minute spikes in price, so Ive widened my stops but halved the amount I trade so that my $ risk remains about the same even if my % risked is higher
