Hi all,
I am Taniska and I am completely new to forex. I am an educator by trade and as everyone knows, a teacher needs more than one job to maintain a household. I have a little one who makes it difficult to go out for a second job presently so I decided to try forex trading. This site was recommended as a good place to start so here I am. It’s a little overwhelming, I am staring at the screen wondering where to start. Any suggestions or ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Taniska. It can be quite intimidating when starting out but I promise you that it will all fall into place once you get going. Follow these steps.
- Download and install MT4 on your computer.
- Register for a demo account with a broker (my suggestion is Oanda)
- See videos on YouTube on how to use MT4 and how to hook up your demo account to it.
- Get familiar with MT4 (view more videos)
- Go through the BabyPips school and practice on your demo account and take notes.
- Ask questions on this forum.
