Keep your risk at 1% of your capital per trade. Do not exceed two correlated pairs at any one time. Do not overtrade. If necessary reduce your lot size to accommodate the 1% risk and have a reasonable S/L breathing space.

Experiment with hedging to reduce risk e.g. B USD/JPY – B EUR/USD – S EUR/JPY.

Forex trading is all about NOT LOSING MONEY. Cut losses quick even before the S/L is reached. Use the savings to fund a better trade. There’s always one awaiting.

Best of luck. Keep going…

When you keep a printed record of your trades, you can fuel your learning with it. Take print out of a chart and list all the reasons for a trade along with the ones that sway your decisions. Write your entry and exit points and make relevant comments on the chart that caused you to lose like your emotions. This will help you get better over time.
