I have with Hong Kong Genesis as a broker over 40k usd in my account. I want to withdraw it but they tell me I must pay tax to them at 10% before I can withdraw anything. They are supposedly based in the USA and I am not a US citizen. I’m suspicious that they want money up front from me to make a withdrawal can anyone advise.
Take a look at this thread. I don’t know anything about them but seems these people have been scammed by them.

I have not lost 40k, this is the amount of winnings in the trading account. They tell me I need to pay 10% tax, paid to a private account in Hong Kong before they will allow me to make a withdrawal. To pay anything to make a withdrawal is a scam as they will never pay.
So how much did you actually lose?
