I get their e-mails about the week ahead, with fundamental news about what is going on. I’m curious is this legit? Or i should say, is it more or less accurate?
Also how do you like oanda as a broker? Are the trustworthy to you? For me I personally like them.
I never found it to be any more or less accurate than anyone else’s market views, and stopped reading them a while ago.
I think they’re among the safer, better regulated and more reliable of the counterparty market-makers who are pretending to be brokers, certainly. (A real “broker” is someone who executes a trade on your behalf in an underlying market to which you don’t yourself have access, has absolutely no incentive for you to lose, and doesn’t ever hold the other side of your positions.)
Oanda’s almost-infinite position-sizing flexibility (if you use their fxTrade platform, rather than MT4) is certainly a major advantage and attraction. I know of no other reason to use them.
Compare their accuracy over a multi-month or multi-year time frame to get the best answer, but what is more important in my opinion is if their point of view is aligned with your own and if it benefits your trading in any positive way.
