Hi everybody, I’m currently based in the UK and considering moving to Spain. I’ve been scouring the web for this answer, but have only found like one or two posts claiming that CFDs are taxed as capital gains. However, when it comes to these things I really appreciate a second opinion. A comment from anyone that has/is based in Spain or has ever paid taxes for trading there would be highly valued!

When a trader focuses on making profits solely, they can’t go a long way. You don’t have to be greedy to make profits because it won’t take you anywhere. You will lose more than you would have thought to. Learn to control your emotions so that you don’t make decisions that can make you lose.
I think you got things mixed up…
I think you must be taxed on your returns but do make sure you confirm this with the local authorities or something.
