How do i figure out the breakeven price after taking partial profits?

example:

i enter long at 132.200 for 100 units

i set my stop loss at 132.157 (43 ticks away from entry price)

i set my first profit target at 132.243 (also 43 ticks away from entry price) for 50 units

let’s say that my first profit target was hit.

i still have a position open for the remaining 50 units but i want to move my stop so that no matter what happens, i will end up breakeven in this trade.

where do i move my stop at?

If you move it to the price you entered at, you will break even on that 50 and still have your profit that you banked on the first 50, minus your spread/costs

What platform are you using? On MetaTrader 4, you can just put your cursor over the stop loss line on the chart and see how much you would lose if it were hit. Just hold and slide the line until this loss becomes zero.
