Great; hope for the best! Keep learning & updating your own trading skill.
I am happy to read that sixteen year olds want to enter the world of forex trading. However, i would advise you to concentrate on your studies. Sixteen is a very sensitive age. You don’t want to become addicted to trading at such age. I hope that you will understand my point.
Glad to see that. Not many kids think about things like that. When I was a kid, I was in the boy scouts and saved my money to go to summer camp. (I’m 83 now, so that was a long time ago.) I told the scout mast I wanted to learn how to swim, so he throw me in the pool and said “If you want to learn how to swim, then get in the water.”
So get a demo account and start trading. Age is unimportant. Try a demo at NADEX it free and they don’t ask your age, they also have lots of free training. It’s not that hard to learn.
Hey @omgil877 and @purtle I’m currently 15 and looking at getting into forex. I’ve just started the course here at babypips and think it is awesome! Just wondering how you @omgil877 went doing forex? I would love to be able to get advice from someone who has gone through the same situation that I am currently going through. And @purtle you seem like you could help me out a lot too! I don’t know anyone else doing forex, and you two seem like you could help me out a lot. My Instagram is @jackstew804 and I know you mentioned Instagram before, and just thought that might be an easier way to connect. I know it has been a while since this has been used, but hoping you two are still around and can help me. I look forward to hearing from you soon! Thanks a lot. Jack
His last online was Aug 2018, I wonder how is he doing now. Hoping for the best for him.
Perhaps he is trading as a legally registered trader by now and too busy to keep us informed.
You can learn the basics from the babypips school and pratice on a demo account. Never forget to choose a reliable broker with best trading conditions.
Hey guys, I’m in a situation here. I’m 17 turning 18 and I love Forex so much. I found out that I have to be 18 to trade but that’s so far away. My parents are old school and very strict so I’m having a hard time trying to convince them to allow me to trade Forex with their assistance in terms of opening an account. They believe it’s just a waste of time since I’m in matric
They’re still stuck on the stigma that one can only be successful through school, a degree and a high paying job. But I have a vision BIGGER than that and they just can’t see it.
Hey @Wonel. I understand your concern but that’s the mental illness that a lot of people are struggling to cure.
People believe that we always need to just stay on our studies. I’m not against it, it’s just that people don’t see that Forex is one of the major new and highly beneficial ways to succeed in life. You go to school to get an education and have your mind conditionally formatted into thinking like an employee and be a slave money (no offence intended).
But then what would be the point of going through that long process if you could make that money freely and live your dream life in a year or two,(since age doesn’t matter and if you’re heavily dedicated) I’ve seen it happen. I believe that everyone should focus on the result you want to have in life, and not the method. Everyone wants to succeed but then there’s no point if you’re having people dictate your life telling you what you should focus on meanwhile you know you have no business with such (this is not only about school by the way).
I hope you view this message in the correct mindset and you see the point I’m trying to prove.
