Most of us traders wake up switch on the computers look at the charts analyze and place orders, don’t you think its the high time we added some pen and paper? i think we should have some sought of questionnaire to guide us in our trading,what do you think?
I do my regular things and afew hours before the news is release i check the long term trend to see what has happened and break down the charts to smaller timeframe to find out where the support and resistance is located.
Before trading I meditate first and visualize the pips I want to gain in my trading, after that channel in positive vibes by listening to cool music. Then start looking for any moves in the European session, and drink coffee just to relax me…
Same with josch… First of all… Coffee! Then I start reading up on what happened in the previous trading sessions to get in sync with what’s happening in the markets and figure out what my currency biases are. After that, I look at charts to spot technical setups that line up with my biases.
1- All the weird morning rituals from bathroom to drinking warm stuff and standing on my head
2- Write reports,
3- Monitor market, trade position(s) / adjust stops
4- Write more reports
5- Monitor markets again and update any positions / stops
I start my trading day with market watch . I see charts of different trading pairs specially in which pair I am going to trade. After deep analysis i decide to open nay position. I use Sl to secure my amount from unexpected loss. In this way most of the time I am in profit.
