How large can an account be?

I saw very massive accounts in mql5 signals, like some guy having USD$18 million and 1:100 leverage, or over USD$1 million and 1:500 leverage. Are such big accounts with such high leverage actually possible? Could their orders get executed normally? I rarely see people with account balance over $100k in forex forums, so I’m a bit skeptical on this one.

Does any of you have an account comparable to the size of those? Or does any of you know anyone that has?

Take a look at my posts from a few hours ago… FYI, it’s called ‘End of year decisions once again’.

Mate, institutional traders even playing with more capital; although they are not using aggressive trading leverage.

the more the better. for money management rule, they don’t need use high leverage although they are allowed to. for example, most cars can reach a speed above 250 miles/h, but you wont need drive @ such high speed under most conditions

Got your point; even which traders are trading such kind of trading equity; mostly they know the trading with details. They are familiar in this trading environment.

On top of that one good trade for them is equivalent to like a bunch of trades for a smaller retail trader.

Does the leverage really increase my risk?

If you have the tendency of over trading & using over-lots, then it can be risky. Since, now you have the spaces.

It will depend on the financial capacities of a forex trader that how much money he will employ in his trading journey. As a retail trader, I am using micro trading account of my broker and my initial investment is small when compared to other trader’s capacities.

Why not, there are some very large brokers out there, with clients making very large investments. Institutional traders operate with even larger sums.
