I hate instability. Typically, I avoid trading during high impact news events, especially when the market exhibits high levels of volatility.

I think you should seriously just watch the charts around the news events. Watch the bars on a low time frame, like 5 min. And watch for like an hour if you have the time. You learn a lot!

thank you this is good advice. based on replies here, i will wait 30 minutes to be safe. fomc is happening tomorrow, have to be safe.
