How many trades can avoid overtrading?

Please House kindly let me know as a bnewbie how many trades can I undertake to avoid overtrading? God bless.

Only take trades as per your trading plan and strategy. That’s it. If it doesnt meet the strategy criteria dont take it.

Overtrading is largely based on your preferred time frame and trading system. A 15M chart lover may trade an X amount over a period of time and won’t have reached his trade limit, but that X amount could be considered as excess trade if it was performed by a 1D chart lover. You will know your trade limit once you discover your most preferred Time frame and trading system. I largely agree with @Rickster99

Not more than 2; 3 can be the maximum number but in total not more than 4% risk reward ratio; it’s my plan!

Just according to your trading plan and strategy. ex. In my plan 2 trades could be over trading yet to yours it’s not. As @Rickster99 and @Regan64 have advised.

I don’t like to set up more than 3 at a time.

Not more than one trade; build a good trading habit 1st! Then increase the number according to your own strategy’s requirement!

It depends on how big your portfolio and capital is. Only you can decide what your capital can afford.
