If you don’t trust the brokerage or its located in a badly regulated place, send them zero money.

With a good broker, deposit as much money as you can - but not so much that you will need to withdraw some of your capital to pay your bills. With a small account do not focus on the amount of profit per trade or per day, focus on the monthly percentage of profit. If you can make 6% profit per month you will double your account in a year: you will not become a millionaire but you can become financially secure.
