How much return on investment you wish from forex trading on yearly basis ? My experience is 100% return a year is very achievable and quite safe. Although i met quite a number of traders who are making 300% to 1000% a year but i personally think that requires use of big leverage and big lot sizes compare to your forex account so when you lose you lose much.

I don’t like to have a percentage return as a goal - it makes me push the limits when the good trades are not there, and you end up taking half decent trades rather than only the great trades because you are trying to chase a percentage.
Rather, I set goals like “10 winning trades in a row” or other goals which don’t involve a percentage or monetary return.
% return is probably an easy way to gauge and compare performances for many traders but I personally prefer looking at trading journal statistics such as average return on risk. But that’s just me 
In the first instance I would just like to make enough profit so that I can live comfortably off it without having to go to work.
That is really of our dream guy. But to make it come true is really difficult and very though full.
