MM brokers donā€™t move the market, they move their own quotes. But of course, there are other brokersā€¦

Some math about stops. Its usual distance will depend on trade style scalp daytrade swing position. So it can be 10-100 anywhere. Spread is important if there is and variable. It can be 1 up to 13-15 pips anywhre depending the time of the day. If thereā€™s no spread and it is a reliable good reputation ecn broker I dont think it does worth him to steal peopleā€™s money this way. Beginners mistake is the too tight spread on fast (M5) charts. It is hard to feel and see how the time and the mass (of money) moving together.
